We Can All Get Along

Hi farm friends, hope this 2012 is being kind to you all! Just wanted to pop in and say hello and to share a precious video of our kunekune pig, Porter and his best buddy, Cola, a miniature Mediterranean donkey.  If the whole world could get along this well, what a wonderful world it could be.

We also wanted to introduce you to Scout, our newest addition at Verde Farm. Scout is a Great Pyrenees female puppy. She is sweet, beautiful and smart as a whip. Her big brother, Shep, is teaching her all she needs to know to protect this small farmstead.

Fall Photo Shoot at Verde Farm

Hello farm friends. We had a wonderful fall here at Verde and enjoyed many wonderful guests throughout the season. Two very special visitors were Jackson and Elliot.  Photographer Melissa Perella  brought them and their wonderful mom to the farm for a day of fun and photos. Using the farm as a backdrop,  Perella used her eye and skill to create a vintage look. The boys made gorgeous models.

They had so much fun with it--and being boys I was surprised with how long they were willing to lend their adorable faces to the cause.
